Wow! Lots of Changes!

For about 4 or 5 days Caleb was extremely fussy and was almost unsoothable at times. We knew that it was because child care started and that it was an adjustment not only for mom and dad, but for him too. The evenings were very stressful because all he wanted to do was cry. Putting him down was just an invitation to have a very angry boy on our hands. BUT, the last 2 days have been an almost 360 degree turn around for Caleb! His personality is finally starting to show and he absolutely loves to have play time in the mornings. I think he is going to be a morning person like his daddy. He does not like to be in his crib past 6am. It's pretty funny, because immediately after you lift him out of his crib and turn on his lamp he turns into a very happy baby that just wants to play. He is also being more aware of his surroundings and loves to look at the quilt we have on the wall with all the animals and colors on it. He smiles constantly now and is actually starting to play on his own in his play gym down stairs. Needless to say, Caleb is a joy and we love being parents! Above is a picture I thought was pretty funny. He already knows the signal for a touchdown!
