Birthdays!!

A few snapshots from Ellie, Caleb, and Daniel's special days :)

Ellie Belle's 5th birthday was so fun! (note: she now prefers only to be called Ellasyn, because, you know, she's so grown up now)

She requested powdered donuts for breakfast- yum! (don't worry, she shared)

Our yearly tradition, being measured by Daddy and marked on the doorframe:
First trip to Build-a-Bear.  She was walking around the mall saying, "Hey! Everyone! It's my birthday!"
Her new pony, "Lovable"
Giving her a bath-
Complete with princess crown and wand-
We had a little family celebration with her cousins.  She wanted a Frozen cake :) I was inspired by my friend Megan (homemadeginger.com)

Some love from Ann!

Caleb got some awesome new toys from Grandma Marcia, too- a light up helicopter!
We started Caleb's birthday off with breakfast at his favorite, IHOP!
Then off to the Lego store-

We all had so much fun,

Until it was time to go......
We also celebrated another special guy's birthday in September.....
Started the day with lots of homemade gifts and goodies of course...
He wanted to take the family to the Royals game, so we headed off to the K-
...only to find out that they didn't have 6 seats together in the whole park (well, that's not entirely true.  They had some that cost like a jillion dollars- for real- or 'standing room only', which doesn't sound too appealing with three little ones on a hot day).  So we made the trek back to the car, and the kids were bummed.  But we scored some free hot dogs from some tail-gaters in the parking lot!!  Yum!

Then we headed to Oklahoma Joe's for a BBQ lunch and things stated to look up!

And we made sure to get Caleb and Dan front row seats in the grand slam section for the next day's game! They had an awesome time :)
We swung by daddy's office so William could get some work done real quick...hahaah!

The parties continue!!!! We celebrated Caleb and Ellie Ellasyn at their annual pool party with all our friends!  They chose a superhero theme this year :)

 Friends!
Seriously could they be any cuter?!?

And a bonus, I got to hang out with these lovelies!

Lots of superhero themed treats of course!
The kids decided to forego presents at the party this year, and instead collected non-perishables for Mission Southside! Thanks to the generosity of our friends and family, we collected quite the bounty :)  What a good feeling to give back.
Our family came in town for the celebration, so we got to spend a whole day with them!
I can't think of a better reason to celebrate! Or two people I'd rather party with!  I'm so thankful I get to be their mommy :)
