Another big month at the Linhart household! The kids are getting SO big! We celebrated Ellie's 2nd birthday a couple weeks ago.
She has a HUGE personality for such a little petite girl!
She is talking like crazy now, moved up to "Room B" at preschool, is starting to use the potty, loves to swim and jump in the pool, loves to sing, and can count to 20! How time flies! And I think she is going to be a leftie like her mama: I let her pick whatever she wanted for her birthday breakfast~ she chose oatmeal! haha, even over pancakes and muffins- go Ellie! Her other favorite snack: Raisins!! Will she be my little health nut? Well, maybe not, because this girl can down some gummies, too...and Smarties...and ice cream...she has a sweet tooth like mommy! hah!We had a really special day with lots of visits and phone calls from family and friends:
Cookies with Grandma Marcia:
She loved her singing Winnie the Pooh card: Visit from Grandma Janet!
She got her first flowers from a boy who loves her very much....her Daddy! Two yellow (her fave color) roses for her 2 wonderful years! We went to dinner - it wouldn't be complete without a birthday song and ice cream sundae! And even special treats to take to preschool:My little man will be 4 on Friday!! He is super-excited, and so are we! He continues to amaze us with all he is learning and understanding. He is energetic as ever, and sweet as can be! He knows the way to his mama's heart :) The other day, he came up to me, gave me a big hug, and said, "Mommy, I love you sooooooo much and you are a really sweet girl...and you are really pretty!" haha- gets me every time!
He just recently finished up his 2nd season of baseball! (Me and Mini-Me team with Daddy).
Here is his little team. Yes, he's the one in the bottom left corner looking at the grass. haha!Video of him hitting the ball and running to the base:
Getting his medal!

He has also started swimming lessons last week. We figured it was time since they have NO fear of the water and will just jump right in!

Something else REALLY special happened this month- My very first niece Kelynn was born! We are so excited to welcome her into our family! What a blessing.
Caleb really liked how she was holding on to his finger. He keeps talking about how he will read books to baby Kelynn when she gets older. Here are some pics of our time in the little sprinkler pool!
They like to put on "shows" by singing songs and dancing, here is one example!

They have also painted quite the mural on the front of our house :) I love finger painting outside!
They usually end up like this:Which is why we get in the pool afterwards!

Some inside activities!
Rocking out at the Funky Mama concert!
Movie night at home!!!Movie night at Church! We saw "Tangled"!Making yummy pancakes!Model car painting with Daddy: We had a happy fourth of July with the Brooks family! Prairie Village Fest and fireworks and BBQ afterwards! Check out this awesome Lincoln Log cabin that Phil built! Brother-Sister Love!!
