Halloween weekend was "awesome!" (to use one of Caleb's favorite words)! It started with Daddy and Grandpa setting up a really cool playset in our backyard :) He LOVES to slide and hang on the rings. When he saw it he ran up to it and went down the slide and yelled "AWESOME!!!!" It was so cute- much more fun to come on this new toy :)

Then he and I made chocolate bat cookies!

He really liked rolling out the dough...

Just making sure it tastes good...

Cutting the shapes....

Decorating....

Final product...delicious!

Here is our little Elmo!! I put him in his costume and showed him in the mirror and he said "elmo!" and started smiling and was so excited. Then when we got outside I think he forgot he was Elmo, so when people would say "Look, its Elmo!" or "Hi, Elmo!" he would look like "are you crazy? why is everyone calling me Elmo??" haha... he did SOOOo well with his first real trick-or-treating experience. He was going up to the houses all by himself and knocking on the doors. If they didn't open right away, he would try open the door himself..haha. Then he would say his own version of "trick or treat" and cash in on the candy. He said "thank you" (well sometimes) and came back with a big smile on his face. We had a blast watching him. After we visited the neighboring houses we came home and he enjoyed a sucker- the only piece of candy he actually was interested in eating and then crashed for the night :)

To top it off, he had a really fun time with Avalie on Sunday! I love seeing them play together - it is so adorable. And they ended the evening with lots of hugs and kisses!!

Pretty girl!
XOXO, the linharts.
