Happy 6th birthday, Tessa! 

This darling is the exclamation point at the end of our family sentence :)

How exciting that we can kick off the new year with a "high 5" plus a "thumbs up"

She's determined, independent, full of joy (and every other emotion under the sun!), and loves all things fancy.

She prefers dresses and pink sparkly high-tops over her more practical options, and can play with Barbies for HOURS. 

She is also an excellent reader.  One of our favorite activities is listening to her read to us at bedtime.  Current favorites are: Fancy Nancy, and anything "princess".  

We love all of her rich "self-expression"...except maybe that big scary bear that comes out every morning after waking up early for school (she never has been a morning person...)

She loves to create and bake-

makeovers and girls nights-

and she can put down a cheeseburger with the best of them!

She also loves legos, polly pockets, and all things snuggly:

She does NOT like waking up in the morning, or wearing socks of any kind.

She is EXTRA in all of the most fabulous ways (or "fablious" as she would say) ! 

We can't imagine our days without our little "life of the party".
