Hey everyone! Did you enjoy our two days of spring?? We did! We have tried to take advantage of the sun. Caleb is having a lot of fun with his friends these days. Today, he got to hang out with Avalie and Emmie! They are SO cute together, and Jessie, Jeni, and I enjoyed hanging out too :) You can't beat good friends, sunshine, and ice cream!
And you better watch out because Avalie is already shaping up to be a future movie star- she is sporting the shades, even inside :)

Mason and Brody came over this week, too! Nothing like three rowdy boys~ its awesome to see them play together- crashing trucks and laughing and laughing (half of the time we weren't sure what they were even laughing about...haha)

A while back, Caleb had a playdate with his friend Daisy from preschool (and I am friends with Daisy's mom, Melissa, from work).
They came up with all kinds of funny games, like making sock puppets:and taking Elmo to the potty:We will take all the potty we can get these days- Caleb is SO not interested!!

In between all of this, we have been dealing stomach bugs and teething and ear infections! It seems like it will never end :(( They both had a stomach issue a few weeks ago, and are finally recovered from that...thank goodness! Ellie's two bottom teeth are finally poking through, which just makes me realize how big she is getting! She has had the worst time with these teeth- fevers and lots of fussiness..and biting! On top of that, she has the beginnings of ear infections in both ears (we found out today!) So her little self is dealing with all kinds of stuff- she is pretty resilient, but dramatic!!!
Pretty girl!!
We got our family pics taken! If you want to look, go to: http://www.luckyphotographer.net/

Good news, we took Caleb in for his 2 week follow up appointment from his surgery (adnoids and tubes) and everything looks great. His hearing is back to normal, so we will see Dr. Mets again in 6 months. Caleb has really started to like his doctors now, so he says "Hi Ron!" (the audiologist) and "Dr. Mets is our friend" and when we drive by the doctor's office he says "Hi Dr. Herrick!"....I think we have seen way too much of our doctors lately :)

I had an awesome time last weekend seeing Kerri and Isabel!! (friends from Middle School!!) We had an awesome time catching up, watching the game (I won't lie, we actually just talked and the game became a good background noise...), and eating yummy food. We started planning our PVMS reunion (we are upping the cool factor by advertising that Kerri will be there :)) Be there or be square.

Sam's new haircut :) Poor Samson! They make him look like a girl again :(( He was pretty embarrased...

Other BIG news for our family: Daniel is making another career change! He has a great job at Blue Cross and was not looking for anything different, but he was recently presented with an awesome opportunity that he just can't pass up! Dan's friend George owns a web and application development company called CremaLab. Business is going very well and he asked Daniel to be a partner in his company to help him develop and manage the business. He is SO excited to be doing what he is passionate about and to put all of his schooling to good use. He will graduate with his MBA next May. We have taken over a month to think and pray about this and we are confident and optimistic about his decision.

Have a great weekend...and Go Hawks!
