Well, we have been unwinding and enjoying each other's company since Christmas (this was our THIRD Christmas as a married couple!!). Caleb is eating rice cereal, oatmeal, and carrots now! He has not quite figured out how to take a bite off of the spoon, because he still tries to suck on it like a bottle! He seems to like eating, and it is fun to have him at the table with us! Dan and I joined a gym last weekend in an attempt to recover from the holidays, and Caleb has his very own YMCA card with his picture on it- round cheeks and all! This dry weather is really taking a toll on Caleb's skin- it is so dry! We even had to get some medicine from the pharmacy to treat it. His double chin is also a site of frequent rashes- its hard being a baby! We bought him and "kick-n-play" where he can lay down and kick a ball and it makes the toys move and play songs. He really likes it, but he still wants to be sitting up most of the time. We are working on teaching him to roll over and sit on his own.
