Hope everyone is doing well! We are excited that the snow is melting and that we saw the sun for the first time in a few weeks :)) Caleb is getting very stir crazy!! Both kids have been learning and growing and enjoying all of their Christmas presents. Caleb loves his new interactive animal orchestra book, and has now been saying phrases like "orangutang's oboe" and "tiger's turntables"...so cute! He knows almost all of his letters and numbers now and likes to spell out words that he sees around. He can count to about 12 pretty well, but always forgets the number 5! Also, he has discovered that he can get out of bed and come out of his room now. The first time he did it, I rolled over at 3AM to see his face staring straight at me about 2 inches away from me!! I screamed, then he got scared and started crying! Hopefully he will stay in his room until morning from now on...
Here is a picture of him sleeping- he is getting really out of control with the amount of books he puts in his bed at night!!

Caleb is a very protective and proud big brother. Here he is reading to Ellie and teaching her about his flash cards (she is such a good sport, and has already learned the art of the "just smile and nod" trick :
Ellie has now rolled over from her back to her tummy and started eating cereal- such a big girl!
It was so exciting to finally meet baby Zoey and see Natasha and Josh!! I miss them!!!!
Just like old times :)
We had a really busy weekend! Ann and I took the kids to Union Station on Saturday to see a puppet show and the kids lasted all 45 minutes! Incredible- Caleb loved it and is still talking about it! He was very interactive- making animal sounds, dancing, and clapping! We also toured the chocolate exhibit (had no idea that chocolate beans grow on trees and were used as money many years ago...) We also saw a huge train set (which Caleb was fascinated by) and we walked through an exhibit made completely out of canned food. Check it out:

Caleb and Ann at the puppet show. So fun!
Afterwards, they have him a HUGE cookie and he ate the whole thing, then he had chocolate samples and chocolate milk at the exhibit..best.day.ever. for a 2-year old...but by the time we got home his sugar high had crashed and he had a melt down..haha! But it was all worth it! Then we topped it off that night with a good-ole pot luck at church.

We had a relaxing Sunday complete with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Linhart, Aunt Jess and Brig, and Aunt Kelsey. And of course watching football with Dad:
Have a good week!
